Last updated: July 2026. These terms are a starting draft and should be reviewed by a solicitor — in particular the alcohol-sale, age-verification and consumer-cancellation provisions — before you rely on them.

These Terms & Conditions govern the sale of goods by Babade Limited, trading as dede Cellar & Pantry, of The Square, Baltimore, Co. Cork, P81 WR15, Ireland (“we”, “us”) through this website. By placing an order you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, contact us at info@dedecellarandpantry.com.

Age restriction — over‑18s only

We sell alcohol. By placing an order for any alcoholic product you confirm that you are aged 18 or over. It is an offence to buy or attempt to buy alcohol if you are under 18, or to buy it for someone who is under 18. We do not sell or supply alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under 18, and we may ask for valid photo ID (passport, driving licence or Garda Age Card) on collection or delivery. If proof of age cannot be provided, the alcohol will not be handed over and we may cancel that part of the order.

Products and pricing

Prices are shown in euro (€) and include VAT where applicable. We take care to describe and price products accurately, but stock is limited and changes with the seasons; if an item is unavailable or a price is shown in error, we will contact you and you may confirm the corrected order or cancel it for a full refund.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A confirmation email acknowledges receipt but does not form a contract; the contract is formed when we confirm the order is ready for collection or has been dispatched. We may decline or cancel an order (for example where age cannot be verified, stock is unavailable, or we suspect fraud), and will refund any payment taken.

Payment

Payment is taken securely at checkout through our payment provider. We do not store your full card details.

Collection and delivery

Orders are available for collection by the harbour in Baltimore, and by delivery where offered. Details, areas and any charges are set out on our Delivery & Returns page.

Cancellation, returns and refunds

Your consumer cancellation and return rights, and the limited exceptions that apply to sealed, perishable and age‑restricted goods, are set out on our Delivery & Returns page. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Faulty or incorrect goods

If goods arrive damaged, faulty or not as described, contact us promptly and we will put it right with a replacement or refund in line with your statutory rights.

Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Otherwise our liability is limited to the price of the goods.

Privacy

We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and disputes are subject to the Irish courts. If you have a complaint, please contact us first. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
